We are carrying out a research and development project under the European Funds for a Modern Economy 2021–2027 programme, Measure 01.01 "SMART Path" (PARP).
Under this project we are conducting research and development work on a novel HID controller — an advanced human–machine interface in the form of a forearm band. The device reads the electrical signal from the muscles, analyses its strength and maps it onto fluid movements of the hand and fingers. The solution combines myoelectric technology (MYO) with electrical impedance tomography (EIT) measurements and proprietary machine-learning algorithms.
To develop a device of the HID class that is unique on a global scale, offering increased precision in predicting finger movement and pressure force, along with greater resistance to external conditions.
A prototype HID controller with parameters exceeding available solutions — including higher accuracy in predicting finger flexion angles and pressure force, and an increased number of measurement channels. Applications include industry, technical training, VR/AR solutions and individual use.
